Quasi-soundtrack music, composed with film scores in mind. Listed as “classical” but could easily be post-rock aka riyl: Rachels (or the instrumental part of The Dolly Mixture, if I can use a reference nearly no one will understand). This is successful in that it would be fine in a film, sounds soundtracky.

1.Musicbox-like, then strings... Starts small, goes grand, stays sad, mid-slow
+2.Another music-box like opening, goes to full band quickly, more upbeat, unfolds well. ¾ time complex rhythm
3.Smooth, mid-fast, moves along
+4. ¾ time, though I think there’s some 7 in here too.
+5. Pizzicato waltz, light on your toes. Cool percussion in 2nd half plus pentatonic asian-sounding bowed strings.
6.Horns & strings make a good sonic texture. Mid-slow, some interesting rhythms, slinky, drums at halfway point of this is the most rock moment on disc.
+7.Short circus song. Junkyard percussion, barely audible vocal at end.
