MODERN JAZZ / INSTRUMENTAL ROCK – Guitarist Meagher (pronounced “Marr”) brings an uncompromising indie-rock spirit to his debut recording, with catchy hooks and grooves from electric bass & drums balanced by moody, individualistic guitar solos and sweeping saxophone flights. Solid; might fit equally well in jazz or indie shows.

4. 8:22 – slouching, moody: drags wearily, rises and slumps, then guitar burns
5. 4:26 – relaxed, warm, a bit wistful with unison horns, brightens in the middle
6. 7:01 – very much a “song,” meandering but lyrical, with prominent drums
