Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2009-06-30
Local all woman outfit, guitars bass drums heavily treated, noisey and distorted yet melodic. Vocals are sung in unison 90% of the time, melodic, sometimes in harmonies.

1) tribal drumming feedback guitar with soaring melody, breaks down and chanting vocals enter
2) tribal-urgent, ebbs and flows
3) somewhat mellower, dissonant meandering feel at first, builds to a rockin intensity
4) good dark impending rock, guitar melodies intertwine and vocals appear, builds toward end
5) mindful looped feel, guitar melody heavy, noisey guitar leads juxtaposed over vocal harmonies, layers
6) slow…speeds up… slow, meditative somehow, almost eastern
7) noisey and thrashy thrashout
8) slow and almost doomy, spooky, echoey, jams out in end
9) quiet slow sparse but builds into wall of sound, vocs and doomy, echoey
