Very crisp free-form jazz. Lots of frenzied saxophone and electronic keyboard. Like most of Sun Ra’s other albums, this is very spacey-sounding and experimental. While it is not the most accessible material for airplay, its bold exploratory sound shows obvious genius. –HYPRK-

1. Slow electronic keyboard playing with frenzied xylophone. A short introduction track.
2. Very progressive lots of frenzied saxophone, some very interesting and expressive drum solos. A very lengthy sonic exploration.
3. Spastic big-band sound. Lots of varied percussion. A few vocal intermissions discussing “Jupiter.”
4. Experimentation with oboes, clarinets, lots of squealing horns. Extended piano and xylophone tinkering.
5. Great brass and piano interplay. A smooth, almost cool sound. A lengthy experimental section with keyboards, applause and drum rolls appears a few minutes into the track. High pitched and almost Middle Eastern sounding.
6. Slow bass solo with occasional flute or piano.
7. Very percussive-centered song. Lots of high pitched banging, tribal sounds, and wavering flutes.
8. Frenzied drum rolls over and over, leading up to blistering brass playing.
9. Distorted flute playing and tribal drums. Vocal sound effects and shouting.
10. Slow, sleepy sounding song. Somber tones. Lots of minor keys.
11. Slow smooth flutes, jangly percussion, gentle piano.
