If I did not know better, I would have said that this CD was first released in the 1970s, and more specifically, TV theme music from the decade. Overall, I was not sure if the driving sounds was folk, country, or rock as different sounds laid on top of each other - folk with jazz, rock with country, blues with big band sound, etc... I guess a little bit of everything. See Tracks 9, 13.
FCC VIOLATION!! DO NOT PLAY TRACK 3. Reviewed by Rhonda Goodman

1. Instrumental, mostly violin. 2. Trumpet driving melody, 70s Television theme song sound. 3 FCC VIOLATION. 4. Nice, lyrics begin 1 minute into song. 5. Country-sound, guitar driven with Jazz infusions. 6. Country-sound, but kind of like a tango. 7. 70s pop sound. 8. opening like children's music, the rest sounds like a children's folk song or instrumental lesson. 9. gentle sound - guitar-driven, soft trumpet. 10. title not withstanding, sounds like a simple folk song. 11. folk-sound with big band sound. 12. Instrumental, big band with country. 13. Good track - repetitive rhythm from guitar, nice lyrics. 14. short instrumental.
