Heavy, low end varied tempo Black Metal from L.S.O.D. and higher toned fuzzy, bassy & murky BM from Valdur. In all a good match up. Oddly enough both bands are now featured in the video game, Undead Knights.

LSOD
(((((1))))) Pummeling, battering with some interesting harmonics & raspy but semi-guttural vocals. As if Morbid Angel went Black Metal.
(((2))) Martial & fast drumming with some necro Celtic Frost-laden trudges. Reminds me of a low-fi & slower Absu. Not bad but it does drag a bit.
((((3)))) Big sounding Black/Doom ‘ala Darkthrone’s “Green Cave Float” but even more low-end here.
(((((4))))) Epic BM with a dark ambient intro. Nice riff/drum/claustrophobic vocal sounds. Lots of tempo & mood shifts. Points for the classic heavy metal soloing.

VALDUR
((((5))))) Dizzying, wavering BM with what some sub-standard drumming in places.
((((6))) Sputtering drums, bass, tremolo riffs then this strange “soaring” effect, minimal spoken to raspy vocals. Odd but occasionally interesting.
((7))) Burrowing, spiraling triumphant riffing with garbled vocals. Eventually leads into a tangled murk of generic-ness.
((((8)))) Clean & moody chords then way fuzzed out, dark & epic-styled BM.
