“Freak folk” (wtf does that mean anyway? Folk done by kids with tattoos I guess, or folk not done by Joan Baez…?). Good simple rootsy acoustic music, male vocals, good lyrics and delivery. Guitar anchored, blues and gospel influenced. White Stripes could take some pointers from these guys.
