Hazy, fuzzy psych pop. Loosely shoegaze, noise pop; blends ambient, jangle pop, post-punk, and psych together. Filtered, treated, distant, incomprehensible vocals set to compressed, distorted, but warm and druggy soundscapes. A lot of the guitar fuzz sounds like it lacks structure, but this gives the music the trippy, spacey feel. Sounds a lot like Atlas Sound and like a more ethereal No Age or Wavves. Like taking tranquilizers to Jesus and Mary Chain. Good stuff. No FCCs detected.
1. Dreamy, spacey, blurry, heavily filtered vocals, jangly but warm. (2:36)
2. Hazy pop, lightly propulsive drums, laid-back feel, rhythmic guitar strums. (4:01)
3. Strong chord progression, spaced out, tambourine, dynamic outro. (4:00)
*4. Whoa, sounds really familiar, mellow, overdubbed distorted, ringing guitars, tambourine, bliss pop. (3:34)
*5. More urgent snare drum, more concise guitar part, and almost discernible vocals. This is one of the more straightforward tracks. (3:30)
6. Poppy, warm, melodic, Panda Bear? (2:50)
7. Distorted guitars ring, more sweet hazy appealing guitar pop rock beneath the treated, spacey, murky sheen of the surface. Drums are interesting on this one. (4:35)
*8. Very distant, introspective, pretty vocals, pop comes in, still one of the more emotive tracks on here, great slithery, overdubbed guitar work. (4:37)
9. Slower bliss out pop; softly hums along. (5:20)
10. Upbeat, sweet, wavy tremelo, swirly, dreamy pop. Channeling Jesus and Mary Chain in their little world. (2:46)
