Serenity Now!-“The Ultimate Trip” FCC Violation-Track #4
 (reviewed by “Uncle Steve”) Local band (from San Jose). The 1st track is an acoustic guitar & vocal ballad. After that, crank up the drums & electric guitar (except the other guitar/voice country-flavored ballad, Track #6). Mostly a guitar rock/punk, meets power pop feel. FCC violation: Track 4 “fuckin” in the chorus (4x) Overall: Good diversity of styles & sounds among the 7 tracks. Recommended Tracks: 1 (beautiful acoustic ballad), 2 (guitar-driven power pop), 5 (punk/power-pop, similar to up-tempo Green Day), 7 (up-tempo, Foo-Fighters-like sound, without raspy vocals) | ||
