Spazzy out-jazz attack, nice and loud, from a local band that did a song called "Buffy Is Dead" (c. 1993). Let by furious sax and abrasive, often metal-distorted guitar. Big and noisy, with slices of actual jazz thrown in. High energy, but also well organized with lots of terrific interplay. Noise shows will find lots to love here.

Aaron Bennett -- sax
John Finkbeiner -- guitar, drinking straw
Vijay Anderson -- drums
Lisa Mezzacappa -- bass

1,5,13- Quick sound blurs, < 1 minute.
2- Nice swingy theme. Then a hard/fast bop blitz, relentless
3- Fast and furious. Wild stuff, great track! Intense drum solo.
4- A pulsing that turns into alarm blares. Not that fast, but feels relentless
6- Crazy babbling jumble. Very quiet mystery break in the middle, then a towering, evil composed segment
7- Rhythmic tapping, gets syncopated. Throaty sax in an solid free-jazz vein. Good hard bass solo.
8- A noisy scribble, heavy with guitar and scraping bowed bass
9- Clarion-call sax and the sound of things falling apart.
10- Screaming and loud, with crazed, echo-distorted sax and, believe it or not, relatively calm jazz guitar. A descent into madness. Terrific ending.
11- Sinister, ritualistic sound with some nifty jazz guitar.
13- Loud. 29 seconds.
