Mainstream jazz with a nicely sophisticated style and a light, unpretentious touch. It’s quite pretty, but don’t let that turn you off, there’s a lot of talent here and much of it is quite stylish. Watch the levels, things can get quiet during the bass solos. *1. Midtempo small club jazz with relaxed groove. 2. Midtempo w/some delicate passages. Melodic & lyrical. 3. Starts slow, picks up a bit into a mid/upbeat jam. 4. Like a hymn. Mostly quiet w/a gentle touch. 5. Relaxed w/some good solos from all. 6. Long intro, slow, then a reflective dreamy ballad. *7. Midtempo mainstream w/a playful, lyrical quality. *8. Slow and spare, gently liquid and dreamy. Pretty. *9. Bright midtempo and lightly funky Les McCann tune. 10. Quiet dreamscape, like a rainy day nap. | ||
