Epic rock jams verging on both metal and psychedelia, mostly instrumental save 2 songs with heavily distorted vocals.  All songs have a slow, lamenting feel.  Favorite Tracks are 1, 8,  and 11, although they are all about equally as interesting.  FCC CLEAN.    
**1) Around Axis (3:35): slow, sad twangy guitar instrumental
2) And We Reached for the Outside (5:28): Slow lament, with wind instruments and two heavily manipulated voices that dissonantly speak.  Fitting guitar solo at the end of the song. 
3) Downing (3:42): Slow distorted guitar instrumental
4) Another Step Forward (4:56): Downbeat instrumental (save one spoken line) that conveys a sense of foreboding.
5) Few Words from our Sponsors (3:50): Brooding instrumental with distorted guitars overlaid on a repetitive guitar arpeggio.
6) Floating Warmth (0:54): melodic, slightly psychedelic guitar interplay.  Becomes a bit dissonant near the end.
7) I Have Lost a Dream and He’s Nowhere to be Found (3:47): Another slow, sad guitar-based song with heavy reverb on the vocals, which are mostly talking.  Some guitar solos between verses verge on metal/grunge, others verge on mariachi.
**8) Reason for Dying=Reason for Living (4:33): Slow instrumental with echoing drums.  If I were in a doctor’s waiting room and this song were playing, I’d probably be a thousand times more anxious.  Mood gets lighter and more hopeful in the last minute and a half.  At 4:00, random snippets of rock songs (I think I hear Sympathy for the Devil?) begin to play.  Cut the song at 4:00.
9) Those who Tell the Truth Shall Die (5:34):  Crawling introduction turns into a blast of power chords.  At 2:20 the song changes direction, softening and slowing.  Then the power chords pick up again to conclude the song.
10) Mouthful of Rain (2:05): Police-like guitar riff with distorted guitars soloing over it.
**11) Thick Air (4:14): Wailing guitar with lots of natural sounds in the background (birds tweeting, water rushing, wind chimes)
