The Album Leaf/ A Chorus of Storytellers
ambient, instrumental preeettttty music. This is the solo project of Jimmy LaValle, who was a guitarist for a San Diego based post-rock band Tristeza. this music is very beautiful, if you like this, I highly recommend looking at his earlier work, which I like just as much if not more… Try all, FCC CLEAN, or Try: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7… ANY!
1. **pretty murmurs of voices over a mellowed-out soft wash of sound 2. **slow, steady beat with strings and piano overlays, beautiful and sad, chimes and bells 3. *wasn’t sure at first how I felt with vocals on these tracks, but listening to it again, its pretty nice. lots of mellow beats, chimes, horns, mid-tempo goodness and roaming guitar 4. ***slow synths fade in and out like waves wandering melody overlay 5. **more funky drumbeat, pretty chords, soft vocals, clean electric guitar, kind of like a cute post-rocky melancholy love song 6. more upbeat yet relaxed. bells, pretty melody, strings 7. slower, drawn out, no percussion, clear and gorgeous, strings, harp 8. ***pretty and clear, upbeat and pure 9. nice vocals, pretty, upbeat, song for two, pretty pop-y 10. mid tempo- upbeat drums, mellowed out vocals and synth melody behind them, 11. beautiful soundscape of strings, bells, washes of synths, very dreamy and calm
