Incredible Psych-Folk-Pop from S.F. Even throws in a good does of 70’s Hard Rock probably due to producer and guitarist/keyboards Tim Green (of The Fucking Champs). The first three songs are threaded together beautifully. Lots of great vocals harmonies some of which exudes “sonic sunniness” for lack of a better term. In all, really great stuff – with nearly no boring or bland moments. A hell of great live act, too.
In the vein of old Shimmy Disc bands like Galaxy 500 & Bongwater but also with a LOT of their own thing.

((((((1)))))) Fast, strummy psych pop with lot of nice airy harmonies and plenty of guitars that jam off in a holy trinity of Steve Hillage/Scott Gorham & J. Mascis.
((((((2)))))) Spacey short interlude.
((((((3)))))) 60’s style folk-pop strum & sunny “ooh-oohs”, balanced with a sharp Psych/Hard Rock guitar (yep, more Thin Lizzy worship), 60’s organ stylee keyboards. A top hit on AM radio in an alternate universe.
(((((4))))) Laid back instrumental with precise acoustic chords vs. psych electric. Nice flute and even (what’s that!??)....bongos? Gets louder & more psych as time passes.
((((((5)))))) Straight ballad. Acoustic chords, nice male lead & female backing vocals sorta Neil Young-like. Then more psych/proggy guitars.
(((((((6))))))) More acoustic but more psych here with glissando style guitar (might be an e-bow) and some proggy keys then a total Metal riff likely from Mr. Green & metallic-psych wailing.
(((((7))))) Acoustic folk ramblin’ to fast, strummy sunny psych pop. More nice harmonies, “everything at 110%” feeling. Gotta love that Rush/Thin Lizzy guitar & drum breaks, too.
(((((8))))) Heartfelt strummy indie pop done the good way with tamborine, even. Rather nice cover of Galaxy 500 late 80’s college radio single.
