LA-based super fun drum/vocal/piano pop duo! Both instruments are played with lots of pizzazz, and the vocals are enthusiastic, with a great deal of range and rockeriness. Hard to believe you can get this much sound out of two smallish-looking people. Errs on the side of silly, but totally danceable and very well done. Try 1, 2, 4. FCC CLEAN, BUT 2 is amazingly sexual if you listen hard.
1. Jazzy bop piano, fun peppy rocker vocals, eventual drums, and choral handclappy bits. GREAT build. 2. Upbeat callout song, poppy and less melodic but fun. Dancy chorus. Lyrics are quite sexual/kinky if you’re listening. 3. More meditative, though the beginning sounds like analog Celtic punk a little. 4. Didgeridoo opening, upbeat poppy vocals with looped oos, a little Maroon 5-esque. 5. Closer to an eighties pop ballad, with synth chorus. Excellent call and repeat chorus at end.
