(CLEAN) 2. Big Noyd – Pokerface: It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from the cat many think of as the unofficial third member of Mobb Deep. When Noyd first appeared, he made a splash, with grimy lyrics, swagger to spare, and undeniable talent that fit perfectly with the ground the Mobb was seeding. X years later, Noyd’s latest is a snapshot of the exact same cat we remembered, as if frozen in time. Whether or not you think that’s a good thing will depend Completely on your personal preference. On Pokerface, the production by DJ Skizz is solidly average, in other words, good enough to compliment Noyd’s vocals but not obtrusive enough to distract. Also not unique/strong enough to stand on its own, so there you have it. Summary: Noyd fans will find nothing to complain about; those hearing him for the first time will not be likely to flip over this. . .the rest of the world has caught up to the 90’s Mobb sound. – KEVVY KEV
