At the nexus of Psychedelic tape music 1964-1970, electroacoustic composition, and way out there structural classical and free jazz compositions from an absolutely original and visionary mind of Peru. Captures the equivalent of the surreal dream feel of a Luis Buñel Film. All tracks are of the highest calibre, complex, and structurally challenging. The execution and scores are at virtuoso level. Legit, not hipster shit. A must play for any experimental DJ.

1- eerie tape music. begins like smashed terracota, ominous tones, evil peruvian
nightmare laughing. whispery noises, then a bomb goes off… wow. incredible.
2- somber guitar intro gives was to some of the earliest space music on tape. nightmare fake sounds, jet engines, goofy dissonant space lounge strings played wrong. marvin martians instrospective side after losing all his money trying to win stuffed animals on the crane game.
3- down the rabbit hole we go… frightening drony, fluttering, train of thought, avantgarde clusterfuck of manic brilliance. 13 minute odyssey of whippings, tickled chinamen, gongs, slapping, and whatnot. the abyss achieved the middle of the track is stunning. a huge grinning wtf of a track.
4-deep mingus like bass, torture chamber reverb. brilliant dissonance. tritone punctuation, eerie vibraphones. fluttering clutter. horn trills. gives way to space. carried by bass clarinet , bassoon to the end..
5- shaky, snaky percussion, off kilter tones. a strained flute carries the melody, interrupted, tritone bursts, spontaneous combustion, birds. free jazz feel.
6- starts with horn drones, and then the masterpiece starts of radios, orchestras, percussion, multitracked arguing in a kitchen in spanish, tape sample madness. this piece had 9 synchronized slide projectors, sucks to your radio.

1-piece for piano and a recitator mime actor. sounds like a fella barely yipping guttural noises w/ minimal piano plonks. some guy is speaking tough, so maybe mime actor means something else en espanol. for fans of bad performance art.
2-thick plodding atmospheres of piano tones and tape, with a massive acoustic reverb. impending sense of doom via ever changing sources of sonic tension for twenty minutes. an impressive piece.
3- skronky tiny orchestral piece with a spaz recitator on the podium conducting himself with the posture of a freak. horn swells are impressive and monolithic, and the string drones and rising and falling orchestral compositions are something to marvel at. surpises around each corner, like screaming crowds. a glorious natted ball of head avant-orchestral overdrive.
