Solo laptop assisted semi-outsider music. Quirky.
Some background- I knew of Yximalloo from a cassette I got in the 80’s and was gobsmacked to see a new CD by this artist. A little research shows that he’s been releasing music since 1973!
1. Music is loping, like a comedic guy leading a donkey across a dusty SW plain. Quiet
+2. Loud strained vocal, no music, “experimental” intro. I can’t understand the words. Then bassy, sparse digital loop, with occasional acoustic samples for accents. By the halfway point this piece grows on you.
+3. hip-hop beat, sorta. Granulated vocals
4.Simple short happy melody, backwards sounds, reminiscent of “3 blind mice”.
+5.it has a beat. Gentle. Indecipherable vocals
6.Glitch nursery
+7.squeaky with mid-tempo beat, instrumental
+8.Most accessable beat yet. Happy.
9.Could be a Coil outtake that didn’t make it onto “Worship the Glitch”
+10.Weird pop, repetitive & noisy. has vocals in Japanese(I think?)
11.Quiet synth piano & drum machine, loud distorted indistinct vocal
+12.low digital mudscape, occasional vocal samples barely audible.
13.Dangerous bass, overdriven cultish vocal chant
+14.loopy, interesting, even-tempered, like a pebbly plain.
15.pulsing sine tone, lo-fi piano noodling
16.bowl of bassy buzzes and bomps
+17.shoulder-shaking chair dancing fun. Trippy hardcoare.
+18.Going to the bath for a drink, while cooing to your date
19.Chanted multi-track vox, syncopated rhythm, primitive
20.Thick industrial beat
21.nice scratches & irregular beats
22.Gentle bloop salad with frenzied vocal samples
23.cymbal stew
+24.Happy piano, simple song
