HOORAY FOR EARTH -MOMO

synthpop. kinda dreampop.
hooray for earth is an nyc/boston based band.
very 80's synth pop: omd, depeche mode, human league.
but w/ a very eno twist.
it's nice. love 1&5.
FCC CLEAN.
SUGGESTED TRACKS: 1, 5, 6.
*1. dreamy, synthy -total eno pop. great backsludge sound.
beautiful.
2. springs being sprung=cool. gets really 80's sounding. too 80's sounding. yuck!: i'm having flashbacks.
3. i'm hearing o.m.d., early depeche mode. big country guitars kick in. spacey industrial ending. leads into...
4. backwards chants, and suddenly, the synth is talking. it's getting dark in here. (a rain of beads, or something burning?)
*5. sudden start -this rocks! marching beat, from all sides. and they're wearing kilts. sudden end.
*6. getting dark again. heavy beat. synths like flies. very poppy.
