Rather good & VERY Heavy Doom Metal from the UK with 2 ex-members of Electric Wizard. In the same area as Asbestos Death (especially the vocals), Warhorse (the amazing but unheralded Boston band on Southern Lord from the early 2000s) & Melvins at their absolute heaviest. In all some great riffing & a pretty consistent album. Not at new band as they’ve been around since 2003.
(((((1)))))) Slow, resonating heavy as fukk with fantastic soloing.
(((((((2))))))) Hammer Horror movie sample, Doom/Death vocals. Massive riffing containing the pure essence of DOOM! Conjuring a killer Warhorse style.
(((((3)))) Nice clean chords, into louder riff & solid bass sound. Mid-level raspy vocals. Weirdly akin to something Black Metallers Ruins of Beverast might do. Interesting change up.
((((4)))) Uptempo, loose with raw, clangy drum sound. Then begins to sound like mid-paced doom. Aburpt ending.
(((((5))))) HUGE riffing & grim vocals plus a ton of low end. Nice drum fills, and vocals made by a Lovecraftian beast.
(((((6)))))) Basic riffing with low in the mix sort of creepy spoken vocals. More excellent drumming and guitar tone. The straight doom bits that go loud-to LOUDER @ 3:02-3:19 is awesome.
(((((7))))) Slow windy slight psych intro. Gets progressively heavier and louder with more audible vocals.
((((8)))) Very catchy, big riff, more of Super Heavy Doom crossed with a distant rock style vocals. Like a spaced out Melvins?
