it's a junk food sugar coma -but before the crash.
and it's like that old junk food that doesn't exist anymore. because it caused cancer and stuff. =oh yeah!
think: girl groups, phil/brill, surf, garage, POP!
it's as if spector, instead of pointing guns, gave his girl groups candy. but this is a 'no-fi'=there ain't no phil.

they have a ton of singles ('so gone' is sooo good!).

*1.could be japanese pop punk -what if shonan knife spoke perfect english? and were obsessed w/ the early 60's?
2. surfy poppy punky. the brills kill.
3. ooo ooo ooo woo ooo ooo!
*4. almost-kinda-sorta-neo-pseudo-quasi metallic intro. but it's really like early 80's new wave (think josie cotton.) it moves!
sweet sing songy stuff. she's eating junk food, pissed, and now, the moving boxes are falling all around. the cat's scared.
*5. sergio leone western sound in the surf. but it's cute.
*6. this is the sad song in this junk food sugar coma.
*7. ramoneish. slow, kinda chanty rhythm. sweetly lulling, then...it's kick ass time. to dance and kick each others buttocks.
8. ooo woo ooo woo ooo ooo ooo woo yoo.
9. whoa ohh whoa ohh. rockish -what if joan jett had, not such a blackheart, and, wasn't nearly as jaded?
10. slow and dreary, as far as BEST coast goes. i like the music, but by this time, the lyrics are so repetitive, i start to puke up all that sugar. there's some teeth in there. it looks disgusting.

*12. drummy, beaty -ooo woo yoo, la la lala, ooo woo yoo, yoo. (esp. like the refrain.) and then...it's a differant song. you'll see.
*13. nearly crashed my car when i heard this for the first time.
i called the d.j. i never call the d.j. (heard it on rhymes w/ ALEX. the reception was going out.) it starts kinda countryish, forelorn-like, and...ya' just wanna dance.
it's one of the best songs i've heard in a while.
