Rock/Emo bands from Kansas City, Missouri. After a hiatus in 2008, this EP reflects their first studio effort in 6 years. Adolescent lyrics (in a good way) that range from charming earnestness to predictable angst. Most of the songs are fairly standard as far as pop punk conventions go: Rock instrumentation, pop-y singing, energetic guitars. I recommend 3, but 2/4 are pretty interesting and might be worth a play.
RIYL: The starting Line, Jimmy Ear World, Weezer
1. 3:28 STarts with a vocal sample that's interspersed throughout. It's the single. Bridge reminds me of Across the Universe
2. 4:05 Keyboards provide an ambient feel. Guitars get really aggressive and there's a lot of distortion. Lofi vocals. Random chaotic samples. Nine inch nails-esque
3. 2:32 Rolling guitar riffs. Soft, almost gentle lyrics. IMO the catchiest
4. 6:03 STarts with long droning notes. Emerges into calm post-rock instrumentals with electronics/keyboards. Lyrics start at 1:156. Last 50 seconds slowly fade out
