Jam-band country-flavored folk-rock. The first chunk of the album flirts with Grateful Dead worship and comes out a sort of Haight Street gift shop soundtrack, but has its successful numbers. The second part develops a solid Band/Jackson Browne folk-rock style that yields several good tracks. FCC: 3; my picks: 4, 13.

1 - (7:35) midtempo bouncy country rock, 1 minute spacey outro
*2 - (4:22) slow but cheery rock with nice build-ups
3 - FCC "fuck"; (4:18) swampy murder ballad; "I'm gonna throttle her ungently"?
**4 - (4:50) slow creepy bluesy rock with big guitar
*5 - (5:28) long psych intro to a solid, mellow rock jam
6 - (6:33) slow rock wanderer
*7 - (5:00) rowdy 70s rock; spoken overlays about Vietnam War
*8 - (6:27) quiet start ~18s; grooving folk-rock w/ great piano
9 - (5:29) Neil Young harmonica part to open; simple funky jam-band pop; bass solo
*10 - (4:30) driving, sometimes proggy rock w/ aggressive vox
11 - (4:37) ballad; whispery, rapid vox on verses
12 - (4:34) wind chimes to open; midtempo folk-rock w/ occasional sound effects
**13 - (3:32) solid, contemplative folk-rock; breathy vox, lots of harmonica; hippie lyrics
