TERE BIN LADEN (WITHOUT YOU BIN LADEN), BOLLYWOOD MOVIE
This music track is from the 2010 runaway Bollywood hit Tere Bin Laden (Without You Bin Laden)
directed by Abhishek Sharma with Ali Zafar "Prince of Pop" From Pakistan. The film is officially
banned in Pakistan even though the lead actor is from that country.The film is about a US-returned
Pakistani journalist whose main goal is to get back to the US one way or the other. He creates
a fake Bin Laden tape and that proves to be his return ticket to the US. “Yankee go home,
but take me with you,” is how director Abhishek Sharma describes it. The film takes a humorous
dig at the love-hate relationship that South Asians have towards America.
All songs in this track have have a fun & peppy sound to them with quite a bit of English phrases thrown
in. In keeping with the latest Bollywood trend there are a couple of club remixes that have a nice
upbeat & danceable beat to them. Music is by Shankar, Ehsaan & Loye (SEL),
who recently released an iPhone app.
