Gorgeous, dreamy hypno-ambient. Hidden Shoal sends us the best stuff these days, indeed. Layered and dense but not afraid to include unusual, found, percussive sounds. Plays coy with “post-rock” and is cyclical and glacially rhythmic. If you like Eluvium or Hammock, you should check this out. No FCCs.

1. Dreamy, spacious sustained synth pads, processed dolphin calls, female voice sampled, some guitar and electronics. (8:10)
*2. Echoey, slow guitar strums with heavy effects, guitar gets really melancholic over atmospheric pads, some kind of funky organ near the end. (5:58)
3. It’s weird but the bendy stuff kind of makes this a little psychedelic, quite a rhythm (with no rhythm section), actually. (5:46)
4. Distant flugelhorns or something. (7:14)
*5. Twinkly reverser guitars and revered effects, lots of delay, bass comes in and renders the song melodramatic. (7:22)
(6. Spacious, airy pluckings and more droney underlayer. Submarine deep ocean sleep. Lovely. (9:17)
7. Fluttery female sampled voice, reverser effects, slow, simple, melodic guitar. Pretty accessible and hard not to like. (8:13)
