All instrumental guitar based intelligent compositions. Some might bandy about the term “post rock” but I always hated that term and wont go there. This is very nice well-played guitar based all instrumental improvisations that incorporate the influences of rock, prog and a certain ambience. Great stuff, don’t miss if only to bolster your afile requirement while using as a soundbed (!) 1) after a strange mixed up intro it launches into cool, if brief simple rockin thing 2) melodic and pleasing happy go lucky rock 3) big “Miami beat” feel but super cool with synths and pitch changes guitar themes that would make Fripp proud for first few minutes but takes on an epic ultra pop feel later 4) more chill, but still there and heavy as hell 5) supercool echoey theme on guitars, pretty and chimey and fun beat driven! 6) upbeat new wavey almost feel about this 7) slower hip hoppy thing with the “hand clap” beat, great though 8) poppy and electro 9) upbeat and really good, just demonstrating their prowess with good beats, bass, guitar, epic again 10) pleasant strummy with guitar in front with harmonics and pretty other stuff, bass, very “guit/bass/drums” if you will, good stuff!! 11) chill, as far as the rest of is concerned, I like it in a dark come down way 12) pleasing bookend to the cd, pleasant guitar and full band melodic, nothing morose | ||
