Synth pop/rock with a twist. Kinda like M83 with their vocals and heavy synth use, but more rock and less ambient crooning. Almost like Phoenix crossbred with Ratatat. FCC clean (except for their artist title!!). Try 8, 3, 2, 10, but almost all of this deserves a shot (especially from you electronica/dancy types)!
1) Falsetto vocals, steady and upbeat synths and guitar. 2) Throbbing beat and catchy synth hook! 3) Syncopated melody, synth horns! 4) Distant vocal chorus, solid percussion, and blippy synths. 5) The least synthy, most alt rock type track on the album, but still has a good synth hook.
6) A reflective, yearning track, complete with echo-y and repeating vocals and instrumentals. 7) This title track is almost whimsical with its plucky string synths. 8) Awesome piano/synth hook, with deep and layered vocals. 9) Spoken word and Phoenix-sounding instrumentals. 10) Deep, harmonic, layered synth, along with calm vocals. 11) Upbeat, eclectic synths, soft vocals. 12) Spoken word intro, transitions to heavy synths.
