Little Scream: The Golden Record: Mostly calm, soft semi-rock. Crooning female vocals, almost entirely acoustic instrumentals. Nice clean, relaxing sound. FCC clean. Try 2, 9, 8. 1) Choral intro, airy/falsetto vocals, light instrumentals. 2) Echo intro, piano riff, like Arcade Fire without the grand harmonies. 3) Calm acoustic strumming, sweet Fleet Foxes sound. 4) Downtempo, with crashing drums. 5) Violin, soft guitar, falsetto female vocals. 6) More spoken word than singing, with slow/deliberate electric guitar. 7) Silly semi-classical piano/violin intro, then crashing percussion and electric guitar. 8) Crooning vocals, light touches of guitar work. Heavenly, like a bittersweet epilogue. 9) Whistles, flute, clapping, unique sound! 10) Exceedingly calm and uncluttered. Long sound-of-rain outro starting at 3:15. Kyle Vandenberg | ||
