LMB is all about the joy of life. Their vocal harmonies can make even a cynic like me believe in God. Here they deliver classic Zulu work songs from the fields and villages. Handed down by parents and grandparents. Rich and delicious with that amazing LMB sound that cannot be matched. Every track a total joy! 1. Relaxed and sweet w/those delicious harmonies. Sigh… 2. Playful back and forth, lazy but warm and fun. 3. Rain leads into a lazy folk song w/rich layers. 4. Splashing in the puddle after the rain. So sweet. 5. Light and sweet w/sweet use of vocal interplays. 6. Those wonderful tongue-clicks. Relaxed song about a bad donkey. 7. Driving, midtempo w/rich chorus. A very traditional sound. 8. Fun work by chorus in a driving sound. So cool! 9. Sleepy and lazy song urging the clouds to leave so the sun can come 10. Cool harmonies, nice breathy vocals, about a bird. Driving, mid. 11. Striding melody, warm and richly layered. 12. Soothing and sweet, relaxed w/clicks. A very peaceful sound. 13. In praise of cows & bulls. Warm, sweet, low key but lovely. 14. Fun and bright “wake up chicks” song. You can picture the chicks. 15. Homesick for the farm. Warm and loving w/a sweet feeling. 16. Old MacDonald – Zulu style!!!! Beyond fun. Lazy & joyful. Ends 30 seconds early, with vocals thanking us for visiting their farm. |
