The first complication from a great new label based out of Germany that focuses on “Experimental-Spiritual-Tribal-Drone.” Most of the tracks are a very interesting blend of ambient and meditative music with strong Eastern Asian influences. Hypnotic and mind-opening with some great instrumentation.

FCC CLEAN

1. 5-minute tabla rhythm with interesting bells and other percussive elements. 2. Dark table beats beating like a steady heart with staticy gain. 3. Strong steady tabla and ethereal zurna riffs. *4. An acid-drenched guitar riff with Nepalese percussion elements. Sun Araw’s return!? 5. Deep meditative ambiance. Subtle bell ringing. 6. Deep grinding techno with hella crunchy gain and echoed reed pipes. Gnarly. 7. Dark swirly beat with lots of static. 8. Lush and meditative and as gentle as a high sierra breeze. Very gentle chimes. Relaxing. 9. Tabla and nasal vocals in what sounds like urdu. *10. Amazingly light and shimmery. Up there with the best Sigur Ros instrumentals. *11. Deep echoey male chanting vocals with subtle reed pipes and frantic percussion. About 2 minutes in it gives away to an electronic beat. 12. Really long ambient drone. Doesn’t get too interesting until about 5 minutes in, when there’s some excellent layers of mystifying chanting.
