Split release recorded live in Eugene, OR, released by a label called Obscurica, who specializes in outsider/experimental recordings. The first track is from the Portland Bike Ensemble, a small collective who plays music with amplified bicycles. Say what? Track 2 is from Warning Broken Machine, the solo noise project of Don Haugen. The second half of the record is a remixed version of the first two tracks (as if the originals weren’t weird enough)! Say what? Put both sides together and you have the best X release of the summer.

1. Ringing, droning, with a varied range of tones and textures.
2. Crazy stuff! Spinning pedals, spokes, and about a billion unidentifiable things.
3. Track 1 as filtered through mind-blowing tape loops, fuzzed out samples, and intercepted transmissions. Great stuff.
4. A remix of track 2—more spastic and a bit harsher with a hell of a lot more effects.
