Nice collection of originals by Nagy and his band. Instrumentation of guitar, bass, keys, horns, drums. Modern-day blues with polished production. There’s some funky and soulful elements throughout. No FCC’s.

*My Favorites*: 2, 4, 5, 6, 10.

1. (4:04) Mid. Horn-heavy, a bit funky with solid bass, guitar solos.
2. *(4:05) Mid. Driving, burning, bluesy, funky number with organ, wah-wah guitar,
3. (4:08) Mid. Swirling organ, piano, subdued, soulful lovin’ song.
4. *(5:46) Slow / Mid. Sparse organ with background percussion, understated guitar, piano, slow vocal delivery. Song about a lost love.
5. *(3:31) Mid. Funky blues with keys, bass, guitar and percussion. Upbeat and driving.
6. *(3:42) Mid / Fast. Funky bass lines, horns, percussion. Hyperspeed vocals and beat.
7. (4:58) Mid. Organ, guitar, vocal beginning, then band joins in. Mellow, easy-going song with some nice guitar work.
8. (3:47) Mid. Big blues sound, plodding beat with a big Stevie Ray Vaughan sound.
9. (3:45) Mid. Bass predominates with nice, understated guitar, percussion. Killer key solo, gets jamming.
10. *(3:22) Mid / Fast. Guitar showcasing with strong rhythm section backing it up.
11. (3:06) Slow / Mid. Guitar and vocal with hollow sound. A splash of percussion, keys and bass.
