Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2011-09-08
Super cool electro with dash of post rock or even prog. Avante stuff that isn’t afraid of using noise and distorted synth sources. Best moments are long epic distort washes that fans of Nadja, Sujo will like. All instrumental. All kick ass.

1) (2:23) loopy electro, kinda harsh but with nice textures
2) (6:40) avante proggy feel: harsh looped plod mash up with epic avante style drumming, off meter complex, gets intense, but chills out toward end, cool
3) (3:30) definitely weirder, big strange beat, super cool, radio friendly length
4) (9:11) chill to start off, waves of ambience, layers of dreaminess, builds to a big epic wash with a slow subtle plod, think Nadja
5) (3:50) beats, with swirling synths
6) (8:55) another epic long masterpiece of noise synths, beats, distortion with a super cool messed up rock beat
7) (5:20) power beats, disjunct, nice stereo effects, cool and noisey
