Phonogenic - The Raw Deal EP
Label: Room With A View
Phonogenic aka (Tuomas Salmela) of Finland has been producing tracks for some time now. He has release on such lables as 20:20 Vison, Moodmusic,Cocoon and even Guidance.His music consists of dirty deep house beats , harmonic syth melodies with a detroit techno edge. If you like this artist then check out Andre Lodemann, Art of Tones, and Basic Soul Unit.
1)Moody deep house with luscious piano chords and slapping claps.
2)Solid deep house with claps and a steady groove. A good end of the night type of track.
3)Very upbeat track with rolling bassline. Strings come in a quarter of the way through and the mood gradually rises until peaking. Synth stabs come in and gives the song a deep chuggy feel.The track has a steady vibe of rising and falling.
4)Scattered beats with occasional bleeps and cowbells.Warnm synth pads come in and create a very space atmosphere. High hats come in and out and keep the track moving.
