Werewolf Jerusalem is Richard Ramirez's harsh static noise project, and harsh static noise is a phrase sufficient to describe the entirety of this quadruple album. To totally rip off the online liner notes, this is subtle, violent, shifting, heavy, enveloping. Layers great with other experimental tracks and sounds fantastic with classical; play it alone if you want to test the dedication of your listener base (I recommend disc 2). Just 280 copies of this album exist, so don't pass up your chance to give it a try. RIYL Jliat

Disc 1:
1 (2:08) Loud static, crackling in and out with a roar behind it.
2 (20:24) A few minutes of quiet, dark, sexual conversation before static
3 (8:27) Low, buzzing static with a short break in the middle
*4 (15:26) Softer, more organic static interspersed with the rough
5 (8:09) Distorted static
*6 (7:56) Live version of track 2, sounds rainy; love the cheers at the end

Disc 2:
7 (50:47) The transmitter is officially off

Disc 3:
8 (21:00) 12 minutes electro-static then 9 minutes industrial-static
*9 (19:14) Stormy winds, broken tv, broken radio, broken headphones, hurricane
10 (7:29) Really quiet then really clippy

Disc 4 (all collaborations):
11 (9:33) Baculum provides a light electronic touch
12 (7:55) The Whitehorse brings a rainstorm into play; very quiet
13 (11:39) Painful Vigil collab; also quiet and somehow particularly dark
14 (8:01) The Rita collab; least harsh track of the box?
**15 (9:52) I Spit On Your Grave lends a creepy high-pitched static tone. Play this one by itself.
16 (12:12) Non Ho Sonno collab. Gravelly, dark, stormclouds everywhere
17 (8:20) Tissa Mawartyassari collab; album goes out with a bang almost sounding like there are notes present, somewhere, somehow
