Berkeley-based electronic producer who ran the now-defunct Hidden Fortress Tapes. Great loose textures with an unmistakable sci-fi inspired interstellar tie-dye vibe. Trippy and zoned-out, but firmly in the electronic category. Most tracks are slow-building and almost bashful of their sonic prowess. Really cool stuff.

FCC CLEAN

1. Deep resonating drums, short puffs of static, a steadily marching beat. Nice intro piece. *2. The pitter-patter of a carefully programmed drum machine, a sparkly bed of synth, wind chimes gently ringing in the early morning breeze. *3. Sinister accents and a moody UK 2-step garage beat. *4. Glittery and lustrous just as the title suggest. Rapid fluctuating keyboard arpeggios, chipper synth. 5. Dark, echoed, with a post-dubstep urban atmosphere. Brings Burials’ “South London Boroughs” to mind. 6. Freeform synth wanderings. Electrifying and experimental. 7. Slow and bleak. Creepy minimalism with a bit of feedback. *8. Builds on many of the themes from track 7, this time with a bit more pep and more distortion. 9. Slow and futuristic. Great fluty elements and whispering winds. 10. Underwater bubbling with cool sizzling synthesizer. Fish tank eavesdropping.
