Ghanaian-born, New York-based MC, composer, and producer unleashes psychedelic Afrobeat and triple-time rap. ALL TRACKS are GREAT, No FCCs detected.
****1: 4:14 lone trumpet intro then great percussion with a collage of sounds, at 2:00 min fast hip hop rap with funky wah wah e guitar
****2: 4:51 mid tempo hip hop rap, fem chorus (Les Nubians), fast instrumental section, locked rhythm section, airport arrivals announcement.
****3: 2:46 fast fast rap, great percussion & brass
***4: 4:16 slow swirl electronics intro. then fast fast male rap
***5: 1:18 Instrumental, big kick drum, nice sax
****6: 5:40 mid tempo, bluesy, some great sounds here
***7: 4:18 slow start then almost a brass drone, male vocal, fem chorus, fast fast male rap.
***8: 4:57 a Fela Kuti sound, MCs Baloji and BNegão from the Congo & Brazil, fast rap
****9: 1:11 mostly percussion interlude, wish this was many minutes longer
