Soul, funk, disco and rock influences on traditional guitar highlife blended with Jazz, funk and juju grooves. These songs were never released outside Nigeria before.
All tracks are GREAT even with noise from the original vinyl.
1: 6:17 fast pounding rhythm, brass, male vocal/wail
2: 4:40 fast, pounding rhythm, male vocal, guitar, vocal & sax
****3: 3:20 mid tempo, male vocal, cool chang-a-lang funk guitar, flute
****4: 4:29 slow, cool jam, male vocal, great guitars lifted from a rare Polydor 45, a bit scratchy but oh so cool.
****5: 6:04 mid tempo, locked bass groove, male vocal call & response, brass
****6: 15:10 mid tempo fantastic juju groove. very minimal male vocals
****7: 8:03 fast hard pounding groove, brass, great guitar groove, male voc/chant
8: 5:39 Instrumental, big bass line, brass, guitars
