INFINITIROCK: "Music for Primordial Recollection" -- Peculiar plethora of sounds, sewn together in "harmony" . . . Experiments in effects and blends. Creating moods and headscapes. Very cerebral. -- Sunshine, January 2012
1) "Chocolate Ear" -- Starts with just plain Noise . . . then tinkly and thumpy. Montage of overlapped sounds.
2) "NUH (peeler)" -- Confusing collage of Wurlitzer/synth sounds, mixed with inaudible vox, crossed by riffs of unknown origin.
3) "Palm Fold" -- Almost symphonic strings, then jingle bells.
4) "Home Movies" -- Heavy footsteps -- kind of scary. Don't know what is around the corner.
5) "Oil On Your Tongue" -- Swirly and tinkly, heaven-esque angelic lilts. Fluttery. Watery. Very short.
6) "Chasing Fat" -- Dischordant thumps and sick-sounding throat utterings. Basketball bounce.
7) "Kiln" -- Rapid galloping -- makes me think of bicycle-riding and hurrying to get somewhere. Becomes more emphatic and powerful. Interesting rhythm. Kind of cool.
8) "Questions Outside Answers Within" -- Ignition . . . then tinkly strings? Introspective moodiness. Windy. Thoughtful.
9) "Bronze" -- Running water, or horses? Subtle voices. Church? Strings. Dark, mysterious and stormy night. Birds call out. Are they lost? Ethereal. Want to get out of here, but not yet. . . . Answers lie within, somewhere in my reach.
10) "Short Stories" -- Comparatively "happy" mood. Prancing, floating. Out-of-body experience. Positive attitude and rhythm.
11) "Glass Balloon" -- Chains, someone is approaching. Friend or foe??? Good or bad? I don't know. Angelic or Satanic? Grooving beat grows. Go with it and see what happens. Some scratching. Party in a graveyard.
12) "Snow Peas" -- Lilting xylophone. Harp. Angels??? Where am I? Background slow beat fades. Goes straight into #13.
* 13) "Tianchi Sightings" -- Swirliness builds into nature's cuckoo clock. Metronome?! Whips??? Ouch. Rapid beatz. Kinda kewl. Lullaby-esque ending.
14) "The Lions" -- Satanic, echoey voices. Speedy loops. Coffee percolator. Or leak in roof. Short. Tracks straight into #15.
15) "Guns Of Kingston" -- Right out of #14. . . . Thumpy beats meld into play. Wet rain-boots sloshing.
* 16) "Pebble Beach" -- Violins tuning. Birds. Big booms (woofers).
17) "We Move Together" -- Fluttering keys calling. Big thumpy bass intrusion. Weird vox. Odd beats. Confusion ensues. Something attempts to tie it all together. . . . Marching conclusion. Breaking glass effects.
18) "1015" -- Kewl beatz. Bowed bass. Thump march. Chaotic.
19) "Controller" -- Heavy, deep pounding march. Evil elements. Not a pretty place.
20) "Upside Down" -- Chimes. Tinkles. Shrill beats. Spacey and ethereal. Train?!
21) "Autumn Sunrise" -- Calm, almost ocean scene. Composition of opposite emotions. Faraway "oooohj-oooh" subliminal vox.
22) "Primordial Recollection" -- Wind. Storm. Wild animals. All collide in an open space. Very spacey and heady.
