Rev. R4D4 Leech Reviewed 2012-09-29 | ||
5 songs of massive DOOM. Dark and evil stuff, and fun for the whole family too! Sacrifice to the Gods of the North for protection!! They are a Finnish three piece, with 2 bassists, that while not strikingly original, rock HARD. Tripped out and spacey sometimes, but still sludgey as hell. No FCCs. Review by Rev. R4D4. 1.(9:07) distorted bass into slow double kicks and then goes slower! Sounds like walking down the street kicking little kids cause it’s fun. Vocals are doing their best to sound evil. 2.(13:16) *** One of the best tracks. Death to all! The Seas of Saturn will consume you! Nice break down midway through into new riffage that really crushes. Ends w. cool rotating feedback. Rad. 3.(9:37) Most upbeat number. Riff broken up with the drums talking back. Most likely track to keep non-doomers interested. Epic vocal track. Phased bass too! 4.(10:18)***DAMN! The ROCKER, play it! The pit swells and someone gets hurt here. 5.(6:55)** Strong finish ends with refrain: This is the End, This is the Beginning. The alpha and the omega are present. Awesome. |
