as reviewed by Mister Esquire noise/psychy experimental/neo-dreamrock jarring, nervy music. kinda like sonic youth or bardo pond when they get in that dragging jag, but not as compelling. but there are some bright spots. (bladerunners will love this.) FCC CLEAN. RIYL: sonic youth, us maple, bardo pond, et al. MR. ESQ. SEZ: MEOW MEOW MEOV- (that's half a 'W') PLAY THESE TRACKS: 4, 6, 8. 1. noisy, jarring. 2. ditto. 3. dragggging... *4.very sonic youthlike in the drag jag, but very good. 5. the guitar is unraveling. u.s. maple. *6. BEST TRACKII: this is pretty cool. like sonic youth meets tamaryn&black ryder. 7. backwards looping... *8.
