Local (?) weirdos dump a cd replete with strangeness that is mostly noise rock, post punky, but uses bizarre samples, effects, and noise to make it very interesting and unique. Reminds me of the more acid drenched moments of the Butthole Surfers, Cabaret Voltaire when they rocked out (Nag Nag Nag…), some Bunnybrains maybe? And a dose of fucking Flipper. Guitar bass drums samples drones feedbacks broken synths tape-loops…. Hope to get them on Weds Night Live.
1) (1:36) old radio voice sample, weird, then kicks into heavy noisy driving rock
2) (2:48) accessible hook in the verses, mid paced noise pop/rock, “hit” quality
3) (2:45) samples regarding psy-ops, torture using music starts off, good heavy head nodding noise rock
4) (2:39) straight ahead punky bouncy, driving power chords
5) (3:49) poppy with chorus and cheery synth notes but really freaky effect on vocs keeps this strange
6) (2:39) starts with 30 seconds of feedback/sine wave noise, then a post punky driving thing appears over it and takes over, crazy assed shit
7) (0:42) voice samples layered with bass and feedback, blends in with next track (play together)
8) (2:11) epic anthemic punky rock
9) (3:47) more arty, subdued and dark, different and nice
10) (3:02) fun bouncy punky noise rock
11) (6:33) casio beat appears under the strange sample about aliens attacking in the first track, a driving dark thing develops, very 80’s cassette four track in tone with dubbed guitars, wacked beats and tape looped samples as vocals, great
