Very proto-punk, no-wave, art-rock 1974-77 stuff. Roots of it all, despite not being a household name. This is actually some of the better proto-punk/artrock I’ve heard, more interesting and creative, noisey and weird. The one-sheet drops the names of MX80 Sound, Debris, and Electric Eels (We are honored by being serviced by Weasel Walter folks). I can totally see it and that’s a great hint that this stuff is not the same old same old. A lot of strange use of vocals and keys and sax. Killer killer killer, appropriately named. Wow. Tracks 1-4 are well recorded from 1974 and kill, I recommend them all. The remaining tracks have a low-fi live raw rock feel. (p.s. a “hidden gem” of our vinyl collection, something that survived years of plundering is our MX-80 Sound collection. Local band too, seminal, check them out).

2) (3:43) things get convoluted really quick, keys, sax, vocs
3) (3:27) noisey dirgey shifts into jazzy swingy walking thing and back and forth, weird and fucked up
4) (3:08) dirgey but piano takes a good part
5) (3:55) lower-fi discordant rocking gets into a wanky noise rock jam
6) (2:15) the art rock has been replaced with more of proto hardcore punk feel, check it if that’s what youre looking for
7) (3:13) rockin stuff, low fi, this is the ticket
