J-Live - S.P.T.A.(Said Person Of That Ability) - Triple Threat Productions
I've been a fan of J-Live since way back in "Hush The Crowd Days" and I can say he has never disappointed. This is album #9 and it's good to say he's stuck to his traditional formula; just some "True School" raps that he draws from true life experiences. J-Live is more or less a regular guy except for the fact he has superhuman Hip-Hop powers. He's the first & only MC I've seen preform a rap while simultaneously perform as the DJ cuttin', scratchin' & rappin' all at the same time (he's also a producer, record label owner, Jr. High English teacher and a Dad). Nice Jazz, Funk, Soul & Reggae sounds make up each track. Production by J-Live, RJD2, Marco Polo and Diamond D.
