Indo-Canadian vocalist merges contemporary Indian song with Saharian Blues with the Tuareg bands Tinariwen & Terakaft. A very cool collaboration.
***1: 4:18 slow intro then fast, hand clapping, big bass line, female vocal, male chorus, with Tinariwen
***2: 0:59 intro to #3, guitar noodling go right into #3
****3: 5:33 starts slower gets into very cool trance groove, with Terakaft
***4: 5:29 mid to faster, trumpet, with Terakaft
5: 4:59 mid to faster, tabla & harmonium
6: 5:44 mid tempo, guitar strumming, fem vocal, picks up a bit
at 2:30, nice guitar.
7: 3:43 slow, vocal with big bass line
***8: 6:46 mid to a bit faster, great full sound, everything cooks on this.
9: 5:18 mid to a bit faster. long fade at end
10: 5:02 mid to a bit faster. Desert guitars, tabla & harmonium
****11: 8:48 slow intro then fast, hand clapping, big bass line, female vocal, male chorus, with Tinariwen.
