Album Review:
– General Description: well-produced pop album; all songs are pleasant and easy to listen to; no song stands out as being musically or vocally amazing or break-through
– Musicians: Jose Conde is from Miami, via Chicago, by way of Cuba. Collaborators on JOSE CONDE include Gintas Janusonis on drums, Pablo Vergara on keyboards, Baye Kouyate on Malian talking drum, Yayo Serka on Cajon, and Sweetcane on Electric guitar.
– FCC Compliant: YES (as far as this non-spanish speaker can attest)
– Recommended Tracks: play 11 and 15 back-to-back to compare Spanish and English versions and how it affects vocal delivery, 12 for funky old radio feel
